Music
Have you ever had a previous career that turned into a hobby, that comes back to grab you now and then? Well I have – and it’s the music industry – as a performer, manager, and educator. Some people call me a Renaissance man, some say I’m odd, while others think one or the other is not true. If you’re curious about my alter ego that may surface from time to time – almost a Jekyll and Hyde scenario, go to: www.ericandersonmanagement.com There are videos, recordings, photos, and descriptions of a sorted-career. I have performed with and/or managed Grammy and Juno Award winning and multi-platinum selling artists. I have also worked directly with Academy, Golden Globe, and Emmy Award winning/nominated actors, actresses, directors, and producers.
As an example, I performed and recorded with The University of North Texas 2 O’Clock Lab Band’s album; our CD “The Transparent Two,” won the Down Beat Magazine Student Music Award for Jazz Big Band in 1993 (I’m a bass trombone player).
Here is the album (each track requires 15 seconds to load):
I’ll get along without you very well
